I try to make every image look like a freeze frame from a movie
Andrew Mohrer is a New York City based photographer living in Brooklyn. He specializes in cinematic street photography and portraiture. His work often involves using only available light and fast lenses.
His goal is to create a cinematic mood you can feel in each and every picture. He has been perfecting his craft for years to create his signature look.
Andrew's work has been featured in campaigns for Canon(Asia), Carl Zeiss(Germany) Algonquin Hotel(NYC) W Hotel(NYC) and Circle Line Tours (NYC). Four of his images were recently used to create the main title sequence for the mini-series "The Night Of" on HBO. He has worked extensively with DJ Premier as both a still photographer and videographer and has assisted famed wedding and commercial photographer Daniel Kreiger.
Andrew's photography was the subject of a short documentary. He is a member of Getty Images and is available for both corporate and private clients.
